The tension started to build around the 6th inning. By the 9th inning the crowd was electrified. Stonelick had only 6 hits for the game. Carlos Zambrano(14-8) got credit for the victory, pitching 7 innings and allowing no runs. The losing pitcher was Jeremy Guthrie(8-7). 'You probably have a better chance of winning the lottery than this happening,' said Zambrano who got credit for the win, 'I don't expect it to sink in for awhile.' he said. 'You know, it's hard to say who was better, the starter or the bullpen!'
